Where are the years going? It seems like yesterday that Mike and I found out we were finally pregnant. After two LONG years of wondering and PRAYING, the Lord had answered our cry. We were finally expecting a wonderful, beautiful baby boy.
And before I even knew this, the Lord gave me a verse for the child we waited for.
“Now I commit you to the Lord, and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all who are saved.” Acts 20:32
We do commit you, Brendan, to the Lord. And I lay before Him my hopes and dreams for you and ask humbly, that God makes you the man HE wants you to be. You are of a people set apart. You already know the Lord and taste of his goodness to us. Grow little buddy, grow in Jesus. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of the man you are becoming. You have such a beautiful and tender heart. You are filled with compassion and empathy. You speak words of truth all the time and already have a heart for scripture. FAN this into a flame, my love. In the end, only God’s word will remain.
You are a wonderful big brother. And everytime I beg you to never grow up, you always remind me that you will always be my boy. I love that. I love you, precious Bubbs.
